The AU$ 1800 (~$1165) WPT Prime Gold Coast Championship has been won by Lorenz Schöllhorn for a mouthwatering AU$ 401510 (~$257729) after the Swiss outlasted a field of 1395 entries the biggest WPT Prime Championship field in the Asia-Pacific region history. After a short heads-up match Schöllhorn defeated Colombias Andres Vasquez who took home AU$ 267615 (~$171782) for his runner-up finish.
